About Us
Family is at the core of everything we do, we pride ourselves on being a truly independent family run business, which is why Sherriff is part of our business name. Established in 1995 we have 30 years trading experience with a combined knowledge of over 120 years in window restoration, design and repair. We are based in Wimborne, Dorset and our window services cover the UK and Europe. All of our services are carried out in house by our craftsmans and we pride ourselves on being a 'one stop shop' for your window needs.
Stained Glass
We specialise in the creation, restoration and repair of stained glass windows. Quality craftsmanship can not be rushed. We take the time to understand each windows unique needs and each clients vision. Using traditional techniques refined over centuries alongside modern conservation practices, we ensure that every piece we create or restore will stand the test of time.

Leaded Windows
Leaded lights are windows composed of multiple small pieces of glass held together by strips of lead called 'came'. Leaded light windows are durable and with the correct care can last for 100 years. This traditional glazing technique has been used for centuries to create both decrative and functional windows.


Window Frames
Specialists in restoring or recreating original window frames from many different materials most common being metal windows. These windows were built to last, often featuring superior materials and construction methods that far exceed modern replacements. Conservation is not simply about making old windows look presentable it is about preserving tangable connections to architectural history and building traditions.
Triple Glazing (Encapsulation)
Triple glazing provides the ultimate protection for your valuable stained glass. By sandwhiching your historic or decroative stained glass window between outer protective glazing and inner thermal glass, this system creates a fortress against the elments while preserving every luminous detail.

Conservation Grade Double Glazing
Heritage meets performance. Tradition meets technology. Conservation Grade Double Glazed Units deliver modern thermal efficiency without compromising the character of period properties. Purpose built for historic traditionally styled buildings, these specialist units achieve contemporary energy standards while respecting originally aesthetics and architectural integrity. Developed and made in house with approval from Historic England & Conservation Officers throughout England.
