Royal Garrison of All Saints Church, Aldershot

Sherriff Stained Glass Specialists were contracted by Jordan & Faber / Aspire Defence Services Limited to undertake the restoration of 270 stained glass windows at the Royal Garrison Church of All Saints Church, Aldershot as part of a partial refurbishment project which had £2.9 million spent on the church.

All 270 stained glass windows were removed by our team in early 2024. Each panel underwent extensive restoration which meant 2.5 miles worth of lead came was used and over 280,000 pieces of glass carefully numbered and restored. Along with the stained glass window restoration we restored all of the original 1850's metal framed hopper windows and as part of a proactive initiative to future proof the works we were tasked with manufacturing weld mesh window guards to prevent any vandalism.

The whole project was delivered on time and budget with the church being handed back to the client by October 2024.
