Cathedral of St Michael & St George
Window conservation works now completed to the Cathedral of St Michael and St Georges Church, Aldershot.
32 Clerestory Leaded Lights removed for re-leading and repair. This was the first restoration of the windows since their installation over 122 years ago. We were also tasked with the restoration and conservation of The Good Shepherd window. During the project we were lucky enough to discover two Mary Lowndes and Alfred Drury stained glass windows while under conservation.
Started and completed towards the end of the summer the team managed to remove, catalogue, relead, repair and refit all within 3 months of the project starting.
